On one of my Windows 11 Pro PCs I am running Release Preview insider build. Yesterday I loaded the lates build - Version 24H2, OS build 26100.712. This morning when I attempted to connect to one of my BYOB IceBox units I was presented with windows login box - claimed I needed username and password due to organization policies (no organization and I had changed nothing). Once I changed the settings from anonymous SMB to username and password all was well.
I changed the default username and password - libreelec - before doing so.

On the LibreELEC forum there is a post indicating that Linux does not support such a function.

You are not alone in experiencing the eroding EPG guide. I have not experienced it to my knowledge. I assume that doing a reboot does not restore the full EPG.

I suggest that you create a support ticket if you have not already done so.

Not so much new as rebranded from what I can make out. I'd be more impressed if they announced a new HD channel and content to show on it! Around here ABC can only manage one HD channel. SBS carries three.

Agreed. MPEG2 is so 2010; h.264 (used for HD transmissions) is a much more efficient codec. Time to retire MPEG2, and fully embrace h.264. Even at  720p and low bit rate, as used by 7Flix in Melbourne, it is quite acceptable.

I have use Ethernet over power line (aka Home Plug) successfully in past and found it very reliable.

Is it just the name, or is that when you schedule a recording for 9Go! (LCN 99) - the HD one - that it records the SD LCN instead.

In your guide settings have you tried selecting only. See screenshot.

Never seen this. As the sound is part of the *.ts (transmission stream) it is difficult to explain what you are seeing. I have never seen this on any of my Beyonwiz units.

About a week ago I lost C31 EPG data but it eventually came back without intervention on my part; not that I watch C31.

My understanding is that @Daniel Hall is working on various EPG related issues. No ETA on a fix.

There should be a full download of the EPG each time the IceBox starts up. Try rebooting the IceBox if you have not already done so.

My recollection is that copying via SAMBA os quite swift, although I rarely use it (mainly because of flaky windows support for SMABA). I use SFTP most of the time, using various ftp clients, but mainly FileZilla. You need to enable SSH in KODI settings in the "services" tab, and set a password (not a good idea to disable password requirement).

Where are you located and what PVR are you using?

I'm in Melbourne and my TRF-2400 has EPG data going to 21 May for ABC HD. MY BYOB IceBox has data up to 20 May.

If you have an IceBox a reboot will do a full EPG (and timer?) download.
