Title: Release notes for IceTV Interactive for Windows 7 version 3.0.0.10
Post by: Daniel Hall at IceTV on January 27, 2010, 09:23:09 AM
A bug was reported in 3.0.0.9 and so we have fixed this and posted live 3.0.0.10, just the one release not this time.

Daniel

A couple of us were wondering just what does this release fix?  :-[

Can you clarify what the symptoms on the "padding regression" issue were?

That will help in testing the resolution in 3.0.0.10

We had a report that:

I've installed this new version on my system and found that the pre and post padding media center defaults are ignored on recordings set via Interactive.

was happening on 3.0.0.9 and the problem was found and updated, that is the only fix for this version.

After installing 3.0.0.10, should schedules set in interactive be resent again to all machines?

I just finished watching a recording from tonight that had zero padding either side. It was originally scheduled in 3.0.0.9 and I installed 3.0.0.10 a couple of hours before hand.

You wont need to resend timers (unless they originally failed).

3.0.0.10 wont touch padding on shows that have already been scheduled.

Just a follow up all 3 machines are working great, all have schedules set through interactive and padding issues seem OK.

Just to be safe, I deleted all the recording scheduled and resent all devices.

Next week will be the real test when a lot of series restart.
