Surely these 2 bad movies have enough of a cult following to have warranted a Coming Soon?

With the IMDB rating that those bad TV movies scored I would say no. Their 3.3 or 4.2 ratings (out of 10) mean the viewing population think they are garbage.

How does a bad TV movie and it's sequel develop a cult following when they are only 1 and 2 years old and there are (currently) only 2 of them.

You haven't been paying attention over the last couple of years. They're so bad, they have definitely developed a cult following, including midnight showings - myself you couldn't pay me to watch them.
