IceTV EPG Content / New SBS channel
May 27, 2019, 08:04:57 PM
Hi there – hope this is the correct topic area. I see that SBS is commencing a World Movies channel in July. I will be away from mid June to end July and hence unable to rescan my PVR which is a Beyonwiz U4. Am I likely to have any problems recording on the new channel after this date?

And I might invest some effort in getting remote access via my NAS working. That would help.

Thanks Ian for the advice.  I also logged a call with IceTV support who advised me to clear all timers, reset the EPG data on the actual  Topfield device, and re-download the timers.  The assumption being that a file in the EPG had been corrupted.  Anyway that seemed to fix it.  But I was fortunate to have been home and therefore able to deal with it in person.  As I travel extensively that would not always be the case and I will certainly follow your suggested process if dealing with this remotely.

Thanks again

Hi there

I seem to be getting a great many errors when scheduling new recordings for SBS Viceland.  The initial item appears to be ok, but after about 24hrs it appears with the little yellow error triangle/icon in my recording list. Even if I delete it and recreate it later, the error reappears. And ultimately nothing record. Is anyone elsé experiencing this and/or could offer advice?

Hi there
I use the ICE TV web site usually to schedule new recordings. I've noticed that when the EPG displays an SBS Viceland record, the following record in the EPG is obscured. Very annoying. I have tried resizing the browser window - this seems to help on my large screen iMac but not on my MacAir or iPad.  Are others experiencing this phenomenon? Its not an issue on the iPad app.  Perhaps an issue at the ICE TV end?
