Title: What's on this weekend?
Post by: prl on September 13, 2015, 11:53:33 AM
Somehow I didn't get my "What's on this weekend?" email from IceTV on Friday (or since).

I haven't changed my email settings for ages.

Did the mail-out not happen or have I fallen into one of the email black holes that seem to be lurking about IceTV recently?

I didn't get it either. The only thing from IceTV last Friday was an update on Skippa shipping.

I did not get one either. But I did get two copies of the email about the Skippa delivery schedule. One at 4.29 and the other at 4.38.

Maybe they are so busy posting Skippas they forgot about the newsletter.

Or maybe there just wasn't anything good on this weekend

I didn't get "What's on this weekend?" for the weekend just past, either.

I haven't seen one of these since April. Can't say that I missed it, but I would still like to receive it.

The emailing looks haphazard to me.

I got this coming weekend's "What's on this weekend".

Maybe I should consider running a book on this. ;)

So did I, but the email header was "We won't be beaten on price".

Looking back it appears I have received notifications of "What's on this weekend?" but since April, embedded in some IceTV advertising.

For me, the From address, whether there's an advertising Subject or not, is consistently "IceTV - What's On This Weekend?". Consistently, that is, provided I actually get it :)

There's a similar From address for the "what's on this week" emails.

That might suggest that you have at some time not subscribed to, or unsubscribed from, IceTV advertising emails.

I cannot find any such option now under My Account.

Some time back there were multiple reports of people loosing the setting for email service. I was one of them. Dave at IceTV reset it for me ...

I haven't lost the email feed entirely. I just seem to lose the "weekend" emails occasionally.
