My Icebox appears to have died, absolutely no output on HDMI, I have tried different HDMI cables on different HDMI inputs but absolutely nothing. Logfile contains multiple

Any suggestions on where to go from Here?

I see that you have no Iceboxes for sale so is BYOB the only alternative if the box is really dead?

Thanks for any help.

Do not recall seeing anything like this before. @Daniel Hall may have something useful to contribute.

You have tried many HDMI cables and multiple TV HDMI ports, and I assume you have tried both HDMI ports on the IceBox.

Has the firmware for the TV been updated recently, in which case the HDMI port settings may have changed; for example it is set to resolution that the IceBox does not support, or is different to the one set in the IceBox configuration - the recommended settings being 1920x1080 @ 50 Hz. Are you able to test it on another TV.

You could try a soft reset, and if that does not work, a hard reset - assuming you have not already done so. You could also try reinstallation of the IceBox firmware - copy the installation file using ftp to the updates folder:
/storage/.update
The ".' indicates that the folder is a hidden folder.

From what I can see on the internet the IceBox (like many NUCs) has two HDMI outputs. It seems unlikely to me that there would be a hardware failure on both at the same time, and more likely that there has been a change in the device it's connected to. So if you can, connect the Icebox to another device such as a PC monitor to see if there is a signal from each or either HDMI output. You might need to take the Icebox to another location to do that, maybe a friendly local electronics store.

Otherwise IanL-S's suggestion to reset the IceBox recommended setting to 1920x1080 @ 50 Hz has got people out of trouble before now, but to do that you need to be able to see onscreen output from the Icebox.

Due to AI data centre demand even the cost of just the 1TB SSD is exceeding $350 so we cannot import the components for the IceBox at a price anywhere near what our customers can bear.

A BYOB solution is the only cost effective option for now but the tuner(s) could be reused on an IceBox if they eventually become available at or near the old prices.

A Lazarus like resurrection. Not sure exactly what fixed it, but I unplugged and replugged every connection, checked TV setup, powered everything down and left it for 30mins. Powered everything on and restarted and everything is working again.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Generally this message is when it's lost the output to the TV, restarting the IceBox is generally the quickest fix. Then it's about checking the HDMI cables specifically.
