V1 remote control multiple press problems

Hi All,
I am having problems with my V1 remote sometimes scrolling an hour thru a show rather than 30 seconds and also scrolling through multiple selections.
Any suggestions on this?

@MD is best positioned to give a definitive reply, but my recollection is that what you are seeing is one of the vices of the V1 IceBox RCU. I have had similar problems with third part RCUs.

The first thing is to try new batteries.

It has got really bad at the moment, changed the batteries with brand new ones and it is a little bit better, but after 10 minutes is back to being very hard to use.

Just an update.
Have given up on it and ordered a remote2.
The extra button for subtitles got me over the line...
