Unfortunately made no difference. :-(

So problem seems to be firmly, series recording for repeats and first run, programs that are repeats are not correctly set on the IceBox timers.

In IceTV they show as;

Recording Options

This show is waiting to be set by device LoungeIceBox. This show is part of a series recording.
and red donut.

It just struck me that this may be due to a Repeat flag having been set on the title field in My Recorders. It has been known from early days of IceBox that this interferes with timer creation.

Either disable it or set it on another field, if that's of any use to you. I'm not sure if setting it on subtitle also interferes with timer creation, you could try, and I think IanL-S has reported he has it set successfully on the description field.

I should have remembered this, it has been reported before, but not for some time.

Good pickup actually, if you change the repeat flagging to be in the subtitle or the description it will be fine, but it cannot be in the 'Title' field.

If you change this, then reboot the IceBox to force a guide refresh it should then work as expected.

You may wish to try setting one-offs again, if that is your preference, but bearing in mind that you may encounter doughnuts and "waiting to record" messages if the one-offs are for programs that are part of a series. However with the Repeat flag issue resolved, it is my understanding that these one-off timers should pass to Icebox and record without issue.

Worth a try, I'd say. There are clearly benefits to not having a heap of unwanted timers and/or recordings to delete.
