Widget wakes PC?

Recently install two new apps:

1. Widget for IceTv and
2. Exetel usage monitor Firefox plug-in

PC is waking after putting it to sleep (doesn't normally do this) and am just troubleshooting this.

Can anyone advise if the IceTV widget wakes their PC from sleep to update?

I don't think it does, as I don't think it updates.  Which is why I missed Nurse Jackie last night  :'(  I actually asked this question a while back (if the widget updates) but never got an answer
