TVheadend tv_grab_au_ice
« on: July 11, 2013, 11:12:30 AM »
Hi,

I downloaded the tv_grab_au_ice to my /usr/bin folder and ran the ./tv_grab_au_ice --configure which created the .conf file.

I found the grabber in TVHeadend but when it runs it is returning a "returned no data" error.

I ran the grabber manually using ./tv_grab_au_ice and it gets the xmltv data fine.

I did notice it is saying it is version 2.1 and I remember reading that version 2 doesnt work. Is this correct? I cannot find a version 3 anywhere.

Any ideas?

Code: [Select]
atv@crystalbuntu:~$ cd /usr/bin
atv@crystalbuntu:/usr/bin$ sudo ./tv_grab_au_ice
using config filename /home/atv/.xmltv/tv_grab_au_ice.conf

My understanding is that the configuration file goes into a place relative to your home directory.  Are you sure that tvheadend and your command-line-testing agree on what your home directory is?  Perhaps they are different Unix users.

I'm happily running the IceTV grabber from tvheadend on my OpenELEC installation, so there's no problem on the IceTV servers that I'm aware of.
