File Format Unknown
« on: September 29, 2006, 01:38:56 AM »

I have just started using PIMP for MCE and everything seems to work great except for connecting via my mobile phone.

When I go to the WAP site I just get a message saying File Format Unknown.  I'm using a Nokia 6100 on the Optus network.  I don't have any problems with other WAP sites.

Any ideas?  Is my phone too old?

I don't know the exact specifics of the PIMP site, but I believe it's all XHTML, not WAP.
So yes, unfortunately your phone doesn't seem to work with it :(

All 3G phones should be fine, as should quite a few other non-3G phones.

Okay, thanks for that.

It sounds like just the excuse I was looking for to update my phone!
