WGT634U Internal Time
« on: September 24, 2005, 05:52:11 PM »
I finally had success and got the unit going.

One thing I have noticed is the time and date in the status page seems off.

ie: at the moment it is showing 1970-01-01 04:39:53 and the next sheduled update at 1970-01-01 14:00:00

how can this be changed - where does it get it's time from?

It gets the time and date from our server, when it boots.  It should come right eventually, I'm not sure what the retry strategy is if it fails to get it on startup.

OK - when I first connected it and booted it I went into my office to check that it had synced with my router and noticed that my ADSL had conveniently gone down at the same time so that explains that, I'll do a reboot at some stage.
