WIN ACT living in the 90's: broadcast time wrong.
« on: February 17, 2009, 09:23:30 AM »
Since yesterday evening, WIN ACT has been broadcasting times in their EIT that set the AUTO time on my Beyonwiz (auto time on Topfields, too, probably) to 1 Jan 1999 (yesterday) and 2 Jan 1999. This really messes up timers and the EPG.

I called WIN late last night (about 11pm) to tell them, but as of about 8:50 this morning, they were still saying it's 2 Jan 1999.

Edit: I just called again (9:30am), and I was told the message would be forwarded to the WIN control centre in Wollongong. I guess that may mean that all the transmitters that take their feed from Wollongong may be affected. All of South or SE NSW, perhaps?

WIN's broadcast time seems to be OK in Canberra now.

They must have found somebody with a watch. And a calendar.
