Series Recording Oddity

I used the iPhone app to set series recording of House on Channel 10, Wednesdays 8.30-9.30 each week.

The Topfield got the details in time and recorded the last two weeks programs but, within minutes of the shows ending, it deleted the recording. I've set timer recordings and one's via the guide and these all works fine it just seems to be series settings via the iPhone app that decide to self-destruct. Has anyone else noticed this happening ? (There is a confirmation post of this in the Topfield Forum)
