+1 here, am thinking going to be missing recordings. Not going to be happy.

I reset some recordings but again cleared themselves. Biggest problem is removal from the humax. Lucky not recording anything tonight. This better be fixed tomorrow as do not want to reactivate recordings again.

IceTV EPG Content / The Walking Dead - marked as repeat
« on: April 27, 2014, 09:16:49 AM »
It looks like "The Walking Dead" on SBS 2, 9:25pm, Tue, 29 Apr is marked as repeat within the EPG. Just checking, as I think this is incorrect.

IceTV EPG Content / ABC2 Repeats as New
« on: March 05, 2014, 02:21:42 PM »
I can see this week a few shows I usually record on ABC1 are marked to record on ABC2 the following night. It seems they are not being marked as 'repeat':

  • Spicks And Specks - Thurs ABC2 8:30
  • Shaun Micallef's Mad As Hell - Thurs ABC2 9:00

Smart Recording on Android / Next episode within series
« on: February 05, 2014, 09:42:02 AM »
On the iphone app, when I see my current scheduled shows for the week I can select any one and the iPhone app shows an option to see next scheduled episodes. On the Android app I only get the options of "Episode schedule to record" and "Series schedule to record". Will all existing options as per the iPhone version be added to the Android verson?

« on: November 22, 2013, 04:02:08 PM »
The Walking Dead has just started on SBS where last weeks episode was treated as "New", however this weeks episiode The Walking Dead (2010) ‘Guts’ is showing as "Repeat". this is causing it not to appear in my program list.

Humax / Re: folders
« on: November 12, 2013, 11:03:58 AM »
I wish the Humax recordings were treated a little like Foxtel IQ with regards to two recordings back-to-back on the same channel (these are for separate programs, not 2 eps of same series). In this I mean the following.

  • Have the first episode record all the way through, plus have the end-padding applied to the file.
  • The second episode would start at the appropriate time

Yes this means that the padding time is saved to two files, but this would be better in the cases the two back-to-back episodes are totally different series.

Currently in this case if the first show doesnt finish exactly on time the remainder of the episiode is not recorded in this file because the padding didnt apply. I then have to remember what the next show was, as the end of the show will be within that file. This then means I have marked a show as 'viewed' although I possibly have not viewed it all.

As will be suggested I should be addressing this to Humax not Ice-TV, but would like to see if other people think the same way.

My example was a Big Bang Theory episode being queued for thursday on GO!, when the new episodes are only on Nine. Think this happend last week. If I see it again I'll leave the episode and report again. In some ways this leads into asking for the option of recording episiodes from a single service (eg Nine), rather than a Network as a whole. If I had this, I'd also make use of recording repeats of some ABC episodes on ABC2.

The episodes you picked from my profile were deleted for two reason. Homeland unfortunately was clashing with other items scheduled for record at same time (if only the Humax had three tunners rather than just two). While I think I have seen the new Top Gear epsisodes from Foxtel.

I have only recently been using iceTV when I purchased a Humax 2 months ago. In the last few weeks on some occasions I have seen some shows being 'queued' for recording when the tv show in question is marked as 'Repeat'. All my series records are marked as 'First Run Only', so I am stumped as why this is occuring. Its not happening to all series being recorded which have some repeats during the week, just some of these.
