Topfield / Repeated Timer Failures - Anyone Else?
« on: April 05, 2016, 08:44:38 PM »
I have a Topfield 2400 running the latest firmware & it is harwired into the internet.

For the past week I am recieving emails to tell me that some of my recording timers have failed.  Repeatedly.  Almost all the failing timers are on Channel 2, for some reason (Downton Abbey on 7 failed last night, as the exception to the rule).  The emails come around ten to the hour & I go and reschedule to recording.  Each an every one of them.  Some emails have 7 or 8 such failures across 3 or 4 days.

This is a fairly new occurrence, it wasn't happening a couple pf weeks ago.  It's just very annoying.  So... Has anyone else been experiencing anything similar?

Topfield / New Wired Network - ICE Issues
« on: June 18, 2015, 07:51:02 PM »
I changed to a wired network for my TV & Topfield.  Problem is that now my Toppy isn't revognising the ICE schedule, and it isn't recognising my ICE device.  ICE 'Customer Service' is not what it used to be either.  Used to be able to phone & get support over the phone.... Now it's leave a message & we'll get back to you.   I've done the factory reset & scanned the channels & named the network etc.  it's just the ICE bit that seems to have fallen over.  If ICE is no longer working, how do I set recordings? Does anyone know if we get a refund on our unused ICE subscriptions? Mine isn't due to expire until March 2020!

Topfield / Toppy not Talking to Ice TV
« on: May 26, 2013, 07:37:02 PM »
My toppy has stopped talking to IceTV now. It won't even let me select Ice TV in the settings. I have searched the channels again, reset up the network, double checked my internet is working (my main computer can have a tendency to freeze), but I cannot select IceTV in settings, & recording & playback are also greyed out.

Oh... And to top it all off, I seem to have lost all the programes I had recorded (but not yet watched) because pecorded programs is also greyed out.

Topfield / Problems with Dr Who.
« on: May 05, 2013, 08:29:22 PM »
For at least the past two weeks, I have been unable to record the full program. I have the recording set on Ice TV to record the series, but for the past two weeks it only seems to be recording about half the show. This is not an acceptable situation for a whovian! Help! What is going on?

Topfield / Topfield Software Update Problem
« on: April 07, 2013, 02:27:44 PM »
With the Dayligh Saving change this morning, I tried to ownload the latest software for my Toppy 2400 this morning. I tried both via my WiFi & by downloading it onto a USB stick. Was not able to access the update server via the WiFi (yes, I had the address you have on your site). I tried to download it onto my computer. I spent over 30 mins trying to access the Topfield website here in Australia. No success at all.

What do we do now? How do we update our Toppy's?

Topfield / 2400 Not Updating Recordings....
« on: February 20, 2013, 07:21:10 PM »
I've noticed recently that in order to get the recordings to update I have to do the whole search for channels, set the network & log back into IceTV routine. It will load the week's worth of recordings, but when the days pass (successfully), it doesn't update for the new days without the whole 'reboot' routine.
Shoudn't it update by itself from the My Week listings in my account?
