Home and Away failed to record again tonight as happened a couple of weeks ago..  This time it was scheduled on 7 as usual and not 7Two as before.

Last nightís Home & Away didnít record. I know it was on 7Two because the footy was on 7, but the guide has always picked it up in the past. It didnít even show as being on 7Two in the Guide.

IceTV EPG Content / Towies & Thunderbirds are Go!
« on: April 03, 2019, 06:13:43 PM »
Towies (7pm on Fridays on 7mate) is not marked as a repeat but last weeks episode definitely was.  Also, Thunderbirds are Go! on 9Go are marked as repeats which is technically correct, but season 3 was originally shown on ABC where the new series was wrongly marked as repeats.  I am guessing a few people missed out seeing the original showing because of this error.

Thunderbirds are Go! originally premiered on the 9 Network and repeats were shown on ABC ME.  I noticed this week that a new series, 3 is premiering on ME but are listed as repeats.  All the episodes shown as 2018 are season 3 and as far as I know haven't been aired previously as I have my series  set to record new episodes only and none of these have shown up.

Hi Tiphanee,

Thanks for that.  Unfortunately my Beyonwiz didn't pick up the change in Adelaide but luckily I got it on my backup PVR.  I know there will always be programs that slip through the net and think you guys do a great job as it is months since I have had to report a problem with the programs I watch.  I don't watch FTA live anymore and record everything so I can skip the ads, so that is no mean feat.  I am a little worried though now the 7 Network is hosting cricket as 7 is what I watch probably 90% of the time and I can see a lot of juggling between their different channels especially when the tennis is on too.  I think you are going to have your work cut out over summer!

IceTV EPG Content / 9-1-1
« on: September 03, 2018, 11:09:16 PM »
All week a new episode of 9-1-1 has been scheduled for Monday night at 9.45 on 7.  Today your guide showed '24 Hours to Hell and Back' in that time slot and the only 9-1-1 was a repeat on 7Flix at 11.15.  I checked my Fetch guide and that showed 9-1-1 as did Freeview so luckily I set it to record on my Fetch Mighty as their listing was correct.  What went wrong with your listing today?

Hi Tiphanee,
Thanks for your reply. My guide does not show very much content for  Friday and not  Endeavour, so that is why I was quering as a repeat.

The episode of Endeavour airing next Saturday is marked as a repeat but this is season 4 and I donít believe it has been shown yet in Australia. I could be wrong.

I too got caught out by the 7 Network last night and had set 7 News and Home & Away to record on 7HD.  When I played them back, found that I had recorded 7Mate.  Couldn't make out what had gone wrong and checked the broadcasts on my Fetch and the TV's own FTA and the same, 7Mate was showing on all despite the channel showing as 7HD.  As I have been having some problems with the new TV, went out to the sleepout which has its own aerial and the same there as well.  I emailed Channel 7 and this is the reply I got;

"Channel 7ís HD channel has switched to 7mate today to ensure we show tonightís AFL match between Melbourne and Richmond in HD. It will switch back to a HD broadcast of our regular 7 channel at midnight tonight.
Regards,
7 Digital Support Team"

Typical arrogant 7 reply with no apology for any inconvenience (have had similar replies from them in the past).  I now remember that part of the deal of 7 showing AFL was that all transmissions were to be in HD, but why couldn't they reschedule the normal programs the same as they do when there is Thursday night footy?

IceTV should have picked this up though as the Fetch guide, the day before had no listing for 7HD on Tuesday night but thought at the time they were waiting for details from 7 as they are quite often late in releasing their schedules.

IceTV EPG Content / Prime Suspect 1973

Is Prime Suspect 1973 a new show?  I was under the impression that it is but in the guide it is listed as repeats and almost missed last night's episode as I had it set for first runs only.

Yes, it is providing you are talking about being a repeat of the show on Tuesday night that is not shown in the Ice EPG for Adelaide (shown in Freeview).  Episode 3 of Before We Die is also still not shown in the Adelaide EPG.

You're not alone,MD!  Might want to check out next Thursday's episode which, although listed as #4, is marked as a repeat.  With the number of mistakes over the last few months for which I am not blaming IceTV as you can only go by the info supplied to you, makes you wonder if the networks are doing this deliberately to discredit the company?? I am like a lot of people nowadays where most of my viewing is FTA but very rarely watch it live so that I can skip all the ads which must annoy the networks.

Another program to check is 'Before We Die' (SBS) lists episode 4 on Wednesday at 12.15am but not 3 episode which precedes it.  In the Freeview guide, episode 3 is scheduled for 10.30pm on Tuesday and 4 at 11.45 the same day.  With all the advertising for Freeview, guess they make sure their guide is correct.
