I have a PC connected to a TV which is the one I use mostly. Because I am sitting back a bit, I have the display set at 150% so I can see it easily. This worked fine previously.

With the new screens, this seems to cause problems. I have dropped the display back to 125% and it now looks similar (at least) to the old screen.

Not sure why you would stuff around with something that was working well.

I get "bad gateway" errors consistently. This site and the page layout on the site have some problems that need to be addressed quickly. Does not seem to be usable at the moment.

I managed to get in and update my credit card expiry date (I think). I assume the subscription will now auto renew. Tried to get to the TV Guide and it was terribly slow. When it finally did come up, the layout seems unusable. What has happened?

I have suddenly been logged out of ICE TV. Noticed my subscription had almost expired but I am sure I was set to auto renew. Tried to pay new subscription but get message "bad gateway". Is anybody else having problems?

It seems that since I changed my time to be 'Auto' rather than 'Network' the problem has gone away. It seemed to me that ICE would schedule the recordings OK but the Beyonwiz would lose the current time. My diagnosis is that the connection to the time server would be lost for some period and never recover. On Auto I haven't had a problem (fingers crossed).

I have a Beyonwiz DP2 with a 500gb disk and a 1.5tb USB disk attached. I record to the 500gb and then move shows to the 1.5tb disk. I want to watch the shows on the USB drive on another TV. The best I can do at the moment is to convert the files to .ts files and then view them using a media player downloaded onto a PC. This all takes time though.

Is there a better way? Buy another Beyonwiz and just use it to play files? Will The WizOTT do it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have fiddled around with a lot of things and it now seems to be working correctly. The only thing I now notice is occasionally a show is recorded that I haven't asked for (I can live with that though). I am not sure what the problems were (but they were bloody annoying). Hopefully it will continue to work as it should.

I have had nothing but trouble since buying a Beyonwiz and subscribing to ICE. I have to ring ICE support so often I have programmed it into a speed dial. Programs get constantly missed, the EPG doesn't get downloaded, the record list doesn't get downloaded. I have to check every day to see that it is still working as it should. Whenever I ring ICE support, I always get told to check that I have the latest firmware and to do a factory reset. You can never contact Beyonwiz - they're worse than Telstra. My advice - don't get involved.

I have had a similar problem and the support people could not help. Every time I ring them I get told to rescan the channels or make sure my firmware is current. ICE is certainly not a mature system and we are paying for something that is not being delivered.

I spoke to the support people today about this and they didn't have a clue. I have a promise that they will turn on additional logging and that a techo will contact me. I went in and rescheduled the recordings only to go back in a while later and see the error again. I don't think that this is good enough and I am getting very close to telling ICE what they can do with their service. I'm prepared to pay for quality but not for this junk. It causes me more problems than I need.
