EyeTV / Re: News on EyeTV 2.3.2 with Australian EPG - Imminent?

From an Elgato support e-mail:

I've downloaded it an all seems to be OK. ABC2 works.

Doesn't work for me :(

We have just found out about this one, the details on a fix are at http://www.icetv.com.au/support.php?faq_id=48.

Great, all good now.

It's landed - see http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/15645. So far I've not been able to add IceTV to any channels. When I try I get offered the chance to select an EPG channel for the station - the list contains the word "None" and nothing else.

Is this an issue on your end or is it an EyETV issue?

Running the beta here, everything's great. Won't be far off!

Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick... :)

Not sure about ABC. It's not an issue if you're subscribed though ;)

EyeTV integration seems like it's going well. No more news to report, but "very soon" still fits well.

Any news? I saw here (or on Whirlpool) that early October was the ETA.

I've called support about this and emailed them twice. I was told the iSlayer guys would be in touch but I'm yet to hear from them - it's been 3-4 days at least since that was promised. I would have thought a quick reply here might be possible but it appears they don't read the forums much.

We believe the widget problems are fixed

I have the latest release and I can't add programs. I've email support with a screen shot showing the error I get but I've had no response. Why does this thing break every couple of weeks?

Total silence from support on this. I'm thinking I might just cancel my subscription - there are free options  which while less slick and polished actually work.

We're pretty sure everything's been sorted out now.

It authenticates and I can see programs but I've lost the ability to add stations.

1.25, anyone?

This is getting very boring. I have the latest version and it's stuck at the "please wait, updating" thing, and it says (in dim letters behind that message) that my username and password are invalid.

I've had a paid subscription for only a few days but in that time I've barely had a working widget. Is this typical for this product?

All fixed thanks.

Not all fixed here - I'm getting the programs but cannot set any to record with EyeTV. There is no record button in the program details thing when I click on a program in the list.

Widget for Mac OSX Dashboard / Re: Widget issue: Not working 31-7-06

That sounds like a completely separate thing, unrelated to the bug we've just found.
You'll need to have EyeTV "Enabled" on the back of the widget, and also have each channel on the widget set to the corresponding EyeTV channel.

I have EyeTV enabled on the widget and each channel set to the corresponding EyeTV channel. A recent change (from this morning) is that while before I had a "record" button available when I clicked on a program, it's now gone!

Hi all,

We're aware of the current widget issue (not showing any data at all). The problem will be corrected ASAP.

Cheers,
Marc.

Thanks. I can see program listings but I can't set EyeTV to record programs. It was working before! I'm told that the free version of IceTV doesn't contain the EyeTV features. I'm a paid subscriber and my username and password are entered correctly.

Any ideas?

Jell
