Thank you!

Now can you start a Windows 10 forum instead of putting this in Windows 8? *spit* :)

How about a month's subscription for every year of lost fees from the previous entity? Keep us happy in my opinion and cash should still flow. If you're worried about the initial months, then rebate us later.

Everything needed to produce and supply a hand curated TV guide with smart scheduling still exists, except the necessary staff.
cheers
Dave

Sad news Dave. Best of luck to you and the rest of the staff for a wonderful 9 years of service for me.

On your above comment, does this mean if all the infrastructure is in place, but nobody wants to run it, is it possible to move to a volunteer run based system? (Obviously we need to pay the bills to keep the CPUs/HDD/NICs running...)

I thought I'd post here about this. Can't seem to find it mentioned on this forum yet.

http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/61061-DISCUSSION-Patch-WMC-to-run-on-Windows-10-final-amp-possible-alternatives

It's a hack to get WMC working on Windows 10. I would try i now, but I'd prefer to not try it on my newly built i5 NUC running MediaPortal 2.

Good luck :)

Windows 7 Media Center / Re: IceTV Interactive 3.0.0.30 Released
« on: February 23, 2012, 09:19:43 PM »
30.0.0.30 working perfectly now.

Although the SBS TWO channel logo is missing. (ACT)

Update: But the other HTPC has the logo, but is missing all Channel 7 logos...weird...

Does anyone know what the hell is this "Television 4" channel is, and when will EPG be available for it? (If at all?)

I'm getting an Exception error when I try to sync the EPG. But it's on my test system, not my main rig.

Ok, so I keep my computer on for a very, very long time...but I still think there's something wrong with this...

Restarted it, hopefully it won't happen again...

Same here. Mostly with WIN here in the ACT. *shrug* That's why it's a RC I guess...

Windows 7 Media Center / Re: Mapping EPG Data - Tasmania (Hobart)

I just posted a similiar issue in my Antiques Roadshow thread, except I have OTA listings mixed in with IceTV listings. I have only checked WIN listings (ACT), I haven't checked SC10 yet.

Is this because 7MC fills in gaps with OTA listings?

I've just checked, and yes, all channels have -IceTV at the end...

Of course, it means that the listing with the -Rpt is from EIT, but I don't know why it's there. Was it because I used EIT first before getting the IceTV scheduled task running?

Or does 7MC use the EIT in the absence of data from IceTV?

Could explain why some of our "let's record this" selections fail to record come a week later!?!

Update: I've just compared my WIN TV listings with what IceTV have under "Interactive". And it's confusing. I've got some IceTV data, and some (I'm presuming) EIT data.  ???

Update2: And now that Wednesday listing of Antiques Roadhow is the IceTV version, whereas yesterday it was the EIT version...

If Windows 7 isn't finding your Digital channels, you'd probably got a different problem outside of IceTV's control.

Try going to http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/ for help in fixing this problem. Helps if you post your Digital TV card type (Go to the Windows 7 - Tuner forum).

Windows 7 Media Center / Antiques Roadshow
« on: May 28, 2009, 07:41:28 PM »
Hello!

ACT, using the beta method of downloading the guide to Windows 7 RC...

Antiques Roadshow won't let "Series Recording" on next week's Monday, Tuesday, but Wednesday it can, but has been mislabelled as "Antiques Roadshow -Rpt" which isn't a very useful heading :)

Erm, I'm pretty sure there's no point in putting this pinned announcement in the XP Media Center Edition forum when the hotfix is only applicable to Vista.

Unless I'm very, very wrong, in which case I just bought a whole new computer for nothing!

Probably a stupid question, but does Canberra count as a "capital city"?
