IceTV EPG Content / Cops
« on: May 24, 2009, 07:32:56 PM »
Hi.

I have noticed that on my Vista Media Center the EPG shows most shows of Cops on TEN as having an episode title of Coast to Coast.

The actual episode title changes to the correct one on recording.

Is there any chance of getting either the correct episode title or change it to the date of showing?

Thanks.

Any idea when this problem will be fixed properly in the icetv client, it seems to happen to me quite a bit.

Seconded. Any news on the next version with the fix?

I have a similar problem. If I try and schedule a one off recording of a show using the iPhone app it never records. Any ideas?

Hi. I just setup another machine and thought I would take note of the channel scan again (to correct any errors I previously may have posted). The results below are SD channels for Mt Cootha, Brisbane.

ABC TV Brisbane
SBS DIGITAL 1
7 Digital
Nine Digital
TEN Digital
ABC2
SBS DIGITAL 2

That is most excellent news! :D

Daniel,

Any news on the padding fix?

Thanks.

I didn't know that it could wake from Hibernate. I only knew that it could wake from Standby. Awesome!

MCE does do pre-padding but only using soft pre-padding. The official limit is 4 minutes but PIMP lets you do more.

We should have a new version out shortly that will fix this.

Hi Daniel,

That's awesome! Any ideas on a timeframe? And will the new version work on XP MCE?

From Hibernation or from S3 Standby?

My PC is set to hibernate after 20 minutes of inactivity... MCE wakes it up for scheduled recordings. I'm heading off home soon to see if my scheduled task idea worked... keeping my fingers crossed!

I hope it does work. Very handy if it does.

Hi Daniel,

Yes that is correct but shows are only being pre and post padded by 4 minutes.
