Iíve finally got the wifi working but still canít get epg or timers.
WLAN connection is connected.
Wireless network says its disconnected??  Have checked all the hardware.
IP address is unconfirmed nameserver is unconfirmed.
Any ideas?

So Iíve tried to set up the wireless but I canít set it up with either the previous wlan or with the new Optus wireless broadband router. So frustrating.

I have a t4.
I lost my internet for over a week. Didnít know because was o/s.  I was then able to connect for a short while, then lost it again.
I set up mobile broadband and Iíve now got wifi internet again for my iPad but not for icetv - no epg or timers. When I try to fetch epg and update timers it says icetv update completed with errors. I canít log in to server. as it says Iíve had too many tries and/or there was an error. Max retries exceeded.
The log goes on about cannot retrieve channel map.....caused Max tries exceeded, caused by class socket.gaierror...errno name or service not known.
I think this is all because I still have no access to internet for Beyonwiz. I think itís a validation issue. Iinet has told me to do this and that, but still no internet.  Also their instructions arenít always consistent.
Iíve tried the reboot but no success. Any help would be most appreciated. In the meantime I would appreciate tips on how to record when you have no epg.

I've just noticed that icetv is no longer scheduling my shows. Most finish in next day or two and after that - nothing. I have tried resending data from app and also online, but no luck. My wifi is working fine and the blue dongle is flashing as it should be.

App says: account expiry date Tuesday 27 Feb 2018? But it's automatically debited each month. Also last update Friday 16 March 2018 and last epg program ends Thursday 22 March. But the epg program on the T4s is missing a number of shows.  Anything I added today is missing, but the problem is more than just today.

I have two T4s and both have the same problem.

I'm in Perth. Have tried everything but still no timers on either t4.

Later: After two hours I now have timers for a weeks time, but not this week.

Not going to spend any more time on this but very disappointed.

I've rebooted one t4 and restarted GUI on the other.  Thank you. Will wait and see. I've done all the other stuff numerous times - disabled and enabled icetv, resent info from t4 and app etc. I have the epg ok, but not timers.

Somehow I've stuffed up the favourites which I use for the epg on the less important t4. I've still got them there but can't remember how to have them come up automatically when I click on epg. Have spent ages stuffing around with this. If anyone would be so kind as to give me some quick hints, I'd be ever so grateful. Normally I'd find the answer myself, but I'm not a happy camper after wasting so much time unnecessarily this morning. Grrrr!

I'm in Perth. I got lots of messages saying recordings had failed. I realised that it may have been because of the channel 2HD upgrade. So I've spent a great deal of time trying to rescan my two t4s, getting more and more frustrated.  I've lost count of the times I've scanned, changed things, resent data etc. Of course I've accidentally stuffed something that was behaving perfectly well before and now have to try to work out how to fix it.

I finally find out that the problems are caused by icetv, not by the t4 or me!

Strong Suggestion: next time there's an issue like this, please send an email to everyone saying that we may not be able to receive a channel and date expected to be fixed. The problem has not been the inability to use 2HD with icetv, but the lack of communication. 

I've lost count of how long I've been with icetv, 10 years+?  This is the first time something like this has happened, no notification given. I'm not impressed.

Please advise approximately when channel 2HD Perth would be expected to be available on icetv.   It's not working now via icetv.

It is true that the bank can't stop the direct debit, but they can (and will, if it's my bank) continue to reverse the unauthorised charges until the debiting company gets the idea. The good news is that this problem is extremely unlikely with icetv.

I'm so pleased that icetv is continuing. Great for staff and of course our epg.

How to cancel a direct debit
Write to your financial institution (and send a copy of your letter to the business you pay using direct debit) and instruct them to cancel your direct debit authorisation forthwith or on a specific date. The bank cannot lawfully refuse your written request for cancellation. Ideally, take the letter to your bank so that your instructions are acted on immediately.

To cancel a direct debit on a credit card account, you should first write to the organisation with whom you have established a direct debit, instructing them to cancel the arrangement and send a copy to your financial institution. If the debits continue you can then request your financial institution to reverse the transaction as it is unauthorised.

Thankyou very much everyone.  I tried everything I could think of, including emptying the cache and rebooting the wireless router.  Finally I disconnected the router, plugged it in again and rebooted it and everything reappeared!   :D

I've had a problem with this router as when I turn on the aircon it upsets the router, but sometimes only partially, not completely.  Don't use the aircon much, only on very hot or humid days.  I've been told that it isn't possible that my aircon can affect the router, but it does - that's been the reality for the past few years.  The running of the aircon isn't a problem, only the surge when it turns on, not sure whether turning off creates a problem.  I think that maybe I need a new router?  Anyone ever heard of this problem?

Well I thought I'd give it another go, but now I'm missing part of my epg - before it was fine.  What is even more weird, my wiz in the bedroom is missing one channel (ABC3) while the wiz in the livingroom has ABC3, but is missing 5 other channels!  I have checked and all the channels I'm using are in my favourites list and also ticked on my IceTV page. 
How can this be and how can I fix it?

Unfortunately that isn't the case.  My epg is working fine.  I've even tried deleting everything from the timer and resending the information, but I still don't get any names.  Any other ideas?
