I've noticed that there is an hour of "unknown" on all the channels tonight around midnight that fixes that 1hr issue for tomorrow onwards.  Maybe this buffer should have been there but a day earlier?  How do we fix this otherwise nothing is going to record properly today?

I'd agree with that too.  Because we've got HD channels with mixed content, the differentiating factor should be the HD branding/logo.

Is it possible NOT to have the HD Markings on programs/shows that are screening on SD channels?  For example, if CSI is showing on channel 9 (Standard Def) but also channel 90 (High Def), only the show on Channel 90 should have the HD logo surely???

Just rang technical support and they advised they are working on the problem and hoped they'd have it fixed soon.

I personally don't like suggestion 1.  If you want a series to only record on a HD channel, then you can set that setting.  But I believe this is still an issue with the guide data - refer my other post where series don't pick up for a single channel only - any idea when this will be fixed.

I do however like suggestions 2 & 3.

Windows XP Media Center Edition / Series not picked up by Channel

If I have a series - eg. Frasier, set-up to record, I noticed that once the guide data had been updated, any future scheduled episodes disappeared.  If I change the series settings to record on "ANY CHANNEL" then it picks them up.  If I change it back to "CHANNEL 9", it says there are no upcoming episodes even though there are.  Any ideas?  :-/
