Windows Vista Media Center / Random Shows recording
« on: October 20, 2010, 07:58:32 PM »
Is anyone else getting random shows showing in the guide as a scheduled record?

For example I was scanning through the guide tonight, as I'm still in the process of resetting all my series recordings, and Two and a Half Men had the record symbol next to it.
since I've never recorded 2 1/2 men before, ever, this has made me check and recheck all my settings.

This is not the first time either, it's every now and then there is a random record show up...

I've just had to open a new tab and type in the icetv website (seriously guys...put a link back from here to your webite, please) and I haven't got any of these shows set...

General Discussions / New Channel for Seven Announced

Are you guys ready for this come September 25:
I'm assuming it will be like any new channel and will take around a week or so to get the guide listings?

IceTV EPG Content / Guide updates
« on: August 17, 2010, 06:40:27 PM »
Tonight, I have set to record via Interactive today to record "Big Chef takes on Little Chef" ABC1 tonight at 6.00-7.00
Instead Australia Votes is on...

My guide still states Big Chef takes on Little Chef

The interactive Guide is correct.

My question is when did this change?

Can you force a guide update when you change guide listings?

It would great if you had a link back to you web site...for example if I clicked on the IceTV logo in the top right hand corner...or something like that...
if I see something here I can quickly goto the interactive site etc etc

Windows Vista Media Center / Hey IceTV, What does this mean?
« on: December 09, 2009, 09:07:32 PM »
I get this error when I manualy get the guide from within the interactive program this is from the log...
I rang phone support over the weekend to find out and they said they would look into it and email me back, so I thought I'd post this here as well...

Background info: I was running big screen epg (for the logos) which has since e xpired so I uninstalled it (I don't think it got it all though) I then installed interactive (had it running in Vista but was waiting for a win7 release) I also installed MyChannelLogos which is running at the moment.

I think Big Screen EPG is still there somewhere as element of it are still present (tv show preview screenshots in the epg synopsis)

anyway that's it I think...

Any thoughts?

Windows Vista Media Center / Interactive showing MCE recorded shows
« on: August 03, 2009, 09:50:47 AM »
I'm assuming the Interactive program pings MCE and the interactive program pings your website all the time...

If that's the case then why doesn't the Interactive website, iPhone app and Mac Dashboard widget display all my series recordings I have set up?

Because they are series recordings, they are "set and forget"... so sometimes when I'm out and I remember something is on I check my iPhone app...
I see that I no series recording listed... so I end up setting them again...

Can you make them appear in the Guide section...

You have the ones I have setup using the website... but not the one I have setup from MCE

General Discussions / Why is there two ONEs. ONE and ONE HD...
« on: July 30, 2009, 08:39:12 AM »
Hey guys,
First of all, I get that HD means High Def and the other one is standard def...
And great upgrade, the interactive site mixed with the iPhone app works 100%, thanks

But when I went in and updated all the interactive stuff yesterday I noticed that there were two "ONE" channels (ONE + ONE HD)
I though Ten/SC were only broadcasting 1 channel ONE and that was going to be in HD...
Does that mean because I only have 1 ONE in my MCE guide listing that I need to retune (again)? two get them both (Regional Victoria)

Also is there different content on these?

As the last time I checked there was only ever 1 ONE?

IceTV EPG Content / ETA for EPG for Win, Prime and SC
« on: January 07, 2009, 02:00:18 PM »
When will this become become available?
I understand how enormous that task would be... what with all the different regions.

Is it even getting looked at?

It'd be nice though... how about just Central Victoria for now.

Sick of seeing good shows on TenHD and only getting Test Pattern

Windows Vista Media Center / Aggregator process has quit???
« on: April 01, 2008, 10:48:36 AM »
MCE 2005

Does anyone know why almost everyday I have to restart my computer because when It goes to get the guide, it can't get it because the Aggregator process has quit???

I went away this weekend. Before I went away I restarted my MCE got the latest guide listing, then programmed all the shows I wanted to watch when I got back...

When I got back though, they were all still sitting in the Scheduled Recording section...

and I had that all too familiar message... could not retrieve guide information...

Windows XP Media Center Edition / There is no Guide Listing
« on: February 13, 2008, 09:15:13 AM »
My old ABC was the ABC digital channel in Central Victoria.
It now has no guide listings, although when I select the channel it comes up as ABC 1 as it should.

Any thoughts...???

That's great and all, but what's the point if it can't update your machine as soon as you make any changes.

I still haven't found out how much delay is on it???

Which is frustrating when I schedule a program to record 10 minutes before it suppose to start only to find it hasn't recorded.

So I think you guys should focus all you time on that, which will make it truly interactive... before you spend all you time making cosmetic changes...

BTW I'm using an iPhone   ;)

General Discussions / IceTV Remote update question
« on: November 06, 2007, 07:58:35 PM »
lets say I'm out of town and it's around 7.25pm and I forgot to set the record for the show starting at 7.30pm.
If I go into IceTV Remote through my phone (which I have done as a test and it seemed to work, but not update straight away) what is the delay time before my recording starts?

Will it update as soon as I make the change through the phone?

if not, then can it?
Because that would be great, especially if the show has already started and I want to tape the rest of it.
