Topfield / Display season and episode numbers on Topfield

In a separate thread (here: http://forum.icetv.com.au/iceforum/icetv-epg-content/5/season-and-episode-details/5761/), I was advised that IceTV does provide season and episode numbers for programs (where available) in its feed.

However this info does not appear on my Topfield 2400 (nor on the web guide; nor in the iOS app).

Is there a way to get the season and episode numbers to appear on a Topfield?

Is there a TAP which reveals this information?

Does IceTV provide season and episode details: e.g. s01e01?

If so, I cannot find this information on:

1. the web based guide;
2. the iOS app; and
3. my Topfield 2400

Am I missing something, for example, do I need to install a TAP on the 2400 to see season and episode numbers?

My greatest wish is to have this info available.

Currently I go to the free Foxtel Guide app to obtain this information. It has always struck me as odd that I can get this information from a free source but not from the guide I pay a subscription for (unless, as hoped, I am missing something).

I am also interested to know whether the IceTV guide on either a HD HomeRun Connect or Plex DVR will display season and episode numbers? (I am considering this model for life after the Toppy 2400.)

General Discussions / New recording set up: how does Limit work?

Hi

In the new recording set up on web and iOS there is a setting "Limit" with options Record All, 1 per Day, 2 per Day, etc.

If you select 1 per Day what happens in the following circumstance:

Screening today is:

Program A - s01e01 - Pilot
Program A - s01e01 - Pilot (a second time for the day)
Program A - s01e02 - Part 2

Will only the first instance of Program A (the Pilot) record?

Or

Will the first instance of each episode record (that is, Pilot and Part 2)?

I am unclear whether 1 per day refers to Program or specific Episode.

Appreciate any help.
