IceTV EPG Content / Tassie and Darwin SCTV
« on: October 02, 2010, 01:11:34 PM »
There is confusion over exactly what channel the Commonwealth Games will appear on. We were 'reliably' informed that the usual SD channel programming would switch to HD and the Games format would appear on normal SCTV. Their own guides seemed to reflect this. They have changed this a couple of times over the past couple of days. Given we're good, but not psychic, any local blurb or knowledge from Darwin and Tasmania would be appreciated. Thanks.

IceTV EPG Content / AFL Guide Additions
« on: September 27, 2010, 12:19:08 PM »
Hi All. As most know the AFL Grand Final was a draw and as everyone knows, there will be a Grand Final 2 this Saturday afternoon. There are no details as to just how long the broadcast will be. I doubt they will have quite the length and 'build-up' as last week, so at this stage we've allowed 5 hrs of AFL time-slot. There was also no point making allowances for time differences in Adel and Perth on a guessed start time. As soon as the info is available, we will have it in the Guides.

Footy Show is being added as I type for AFL also.

IceTV EPG Content / Test Cricket on Nine, WIN, NBN & Imparja
« on: November 29, 2009, 01:00:25 AM »
As most know, the Aussies wrapped up the test cricket in Brisbane after 3 days play instead of the programmed 5 days. IceGuide is still showing Test Cricket as there is no information forthcoming as to replacement viewing. As soon as we know, you will. Thanks.

IceTV EPG Content / Stateline Tonight
« on: November 27, 2009, 06:22:33 PM »
Early Friday afternoon, The Collectors was dropped at 8pm to make place for a special edition of Australian Story. Reliable information also filtered through that a special edition of The 7:30 Report would air in place of Stateline. There is some doubt however whether all states are going to take this special program. A decision was made to replace Stateline nationwide. Apologies in advance if this decision proves incorrect for some cities.

IceTV EPG Content / ONE Digital
« on: July 04, 2009, 12:33:50 PM »
There has been some issues surrounding the line-ups on ONE Digital being different to ONE-HD usually on weekends. This seemed to occur when ONE-HD and TEN-SD were showing the same live sport. Due to broadcasting regulations, this meant ONE-Digital could not also show the same program at the same time. I thought. This weekend however, it seems that all 3 channels are showing live AFL and ANZ Netball Game siimultaneously. If this is not the case in reality, please feel free to let us know through this thread.

IceTV EPG Content / 7 Programming Tonight (Tues 10th Feb)
« on: February 10, 2009, 04:11:42 PM »
Channel 7 have changed programming tonight. Extending their News at 6pm. (1hr). RSPCA bites the dust, whilst Today Tonight & Home and Away are half hour later. Find My Family resumes as normal at 8pm (although don't hold your breath).

IceTV EPG Content / Channel 7 Line-Up Thursday Sept.4th
« on: August 30, 2008, 12:35:48 PM »
Hi All,

As most of you have noticed I'm sure, Channel 7's scheduling changes have been a debacle since the Olympics. Thursday night nx week is no exception. There seem endless permutations of programming across all regions - not many of which make any sense. It's very hard to work out what they're up to at this stage. Most regions still reflect a line-up including a double episode of Home & Away, Ugly Betty and Trinny. I have changed only Sydney line-up to my 'best guess' for now. That is, half hr of Home & Away, a double episode of Ghost Whisperer, Family Guy and American Dad.

Of course we'll be monitoring closely each day and wait for something more concrete to emerge from 7. Saturday Night Finals of AFL are also a little mystifying, however that should become clearer as results from this weekend's games are known.

IceTV EPG Content / AFL Friday - Eastern Non-AFL States
« on: September 21, 2007, 01:35:05 PM »
Hi All,

There is a whisper around that Channel Seven may delay tonight's AFL Final by an hour to 9:30pm. There is nothing to substantiate this and it's certainly not confirmed in any publications. However, for those who love their AFL ..... you might want to leave your recording at 8:30 but extend duration by an hour. Thanks.

IceTV EPG Content / Dr Phil and Tassie
« on: September 14, 2007, 01:16:05 PM »
To all our Tassie subscribers. There is some confusion as to just what is going to air on TDT at 12pm Mon-Fri. Some sources are suggesting that Dr.Phil is being dropped for old Totally Australia programs. Can someone please let us know what is the reality there for this time-slot? Thanks.

IceTV EPG Content / Postcards Program
« on: August 20, 2007, 11:21:14 AM »
From Sunday August 26th, the 'Postcards' program that appears in South Australia will re-titled 'Postcards SA'. This is now neccessary to distinguish it from a different program in Victoria with the same name and format. 'Postcards' in Vic Guides remains the same. Thanks.

IceTV EPG Content / Great Comedy Classic
« on: May 20, 2007, 12:22:55 PM »
For quite awhile now, the program 'Great Comedy Classics' hosted by Russell what's his name, has been scheduled using the actual titles of the programs highlighted. IE: Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em / On the Buses / George and Mildred etc. For those of you that have been watching it, you'll know what I mean. As from next weekend (it's on in Melbourne), they will be scheduled under the title 'Great Comedy Classics' with the particular shows as the episode name. Thanks.

IceTV EPG Content / Sunday Night Movie ACT, Central Coast & Gold Coast
« on: January 07, 2007, 12:11:50 PM »
There is confusing and conflicting information regarding tonight's (Sunday 7th) Sunday Night Movie for the ACT, Wollongong, Central Coast and Gold Coast Southern X channels. At some point we were fed what I believe is a red herring with 'Sleepless in Seattle' and have changed it back to 'Mission Impossible'. I hope this has not inconvenienced too many people and I'd love some feedback as to what actually is shown tonight. It might unravel future mysteries. Thanks.

IceTV EPG Content / TEN & Affiliates
« on: January 01, 2007, 01:48:19 PM »
Greetings. Ice Guide for Sunday 7th Jan'07 contains no information for TEN or its affiliates as yet. We will attempt to bring this to you asap. Thanks for your patience.

IceTV EPG Content / Simpsons on Demand
« on: September 08, 2006, 10:44:54 AM »
Hi All,

Alot of Simpsons' fans out there so letting you know Ch10 are starting to call the 18:00 timeslot 'Simpsons On Demand' as from next week. The idea being, you all contribute to the 'Save Telstra' fund by voting for your fave ep. So, I won't know (and neither will you) what episode to schedule there. A new Program name has been created for this 'vote' show. I have also flagged this as 'repeat' as I doubt they are going to show any new programs without the chance to promote .... and you could hardly vote for an ep you've never seen. So ...... enjoy Ch.10's special surprise. :)
