IceTV EPG Content / All Saints incorrectly marked as repeat last night
« on: October 07, 2009, 10:31:45 AM »
All Saints on Channel 7 in Sydney was marked as a repeat last night in Sydney. Lucky I checked what was scheduled and noticed it, otherwise WAF would have taken a big dive.

Windows Vista Media Center / Interactive for Windows 7 - when?
« on: September 30, 2009, 02:29:24 PM »
Given that the public release of Windows 7 is just weeks away, what is the current status of Windows 7 support for Ice Interactive. To date I've not seen any talk of a beta version for test, or indeed any timeline. Is IceTV actively working on a Window 7 version of Interactive?

If I check the "Copy SD shows to HD channels" option in my account, what channels are affected by this? I'm in the Sydney metro area.

I'm assuming ABC HD gets the ABC1 SD data, and similarly for SBS HD and SBS ONE. But are things like 7HD also affected?

IceTV EPG Content / Recruits on 4pm Monday??
« on: May 20, 2009, 08:58:06 AM »
The Ice Guide shows Recruits to be shown at 4pm Monday on TEN in Sydney, as well as it's usual time of 8pm Monday. Is this a repeat (it's not marked as such) or an error?

I'm getting a lot of "cannot match channel ID" type errors in the Interactive log on my Vista MC machine, and I've noticed that nothing I schedule on channel 10 shows up in the "My Upcomming Shows" tab of the Widget or web application.

The guide data is all fine on the HTPC.

Any ideas?

Yesterday three recordings (all for Saturday) showed up in the My Upcoming Shows tab in the Widget. I hadn't scheduled these recordings, neither through the Interactive program nor directly on my Vista Media Center pc. I don't have any automatic keyword recordings set up either.

The phantom recordings are still there today with a red dot in the Widget. If I look on the My Upcoming Shows section on the Website the three phantom programs are marked with a yellow triangle and say "Recording failed". None of the phantom shows is listed for recording on my Media Center.

Anyone got any ideas what's happening?

IceTV EPG Content / ABC News - can the late edition have a different name
« on: December 09, 2008, 01:25:50 PM »
I have my Vista Media Centre set up to record the ABC News every night as a series recording. I have it set to only keep the last recording (cause I only record it in case I get home late, but only ever want to watch it on the day or delete it). The trouble is that the Ice Guide has the 5 minute late edition of the news at 10:25pm listed with the same name. So if I don't get around to watching the news until late, I sometimes only get the short version.

I have tried tweaking the series recording settings, but no matter which settings I change I can't get it to work reliably. It still occasionally wants to record the late edition.

Would it be possible to have the later bulletin listed as something like "ABC News - Late Edition" so it doesn't mistakenly trigger the series recording?

Yahoo! Widget / Widget crashes on startup
« on: August 27, 2008, 09:10:28 AM »
As of this morning every time I try to start the IceTV widget I get the following error "Yahoo! Widgets has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I'm using version 4.5.1.0.

Everything has been working fine previously. No changes or updates have been applied to the computer that I'm aware of.

Yahoo! Widget / Weird times in My Upcoming Shows
« on: July 02, 2008, 02:10:56 PM »
I keep getting weird start times displayed for programs in the My Upcoming Shows tab in the Widget. The Guide times are fine, as are the times shown on my HTPC and on the Interactive pages of the web site.

For example, the SBS movie on Thursday ("All the invisible children") is shown in the My Upcoming Shows tab in the Widget as starting at 10:02pm instead of 10:00pm.

Any ideas?

Yahoo! Widget / HTPC, Ice Interactive and Yahoo! Widget discrepancy
« on: June 11, 2008, 11:46:40 AM »
I have a series recording for All Saints that I set up on my Vista HTPC, which runs Ice Interactive. It's set to only record first run episodes. On my HTPC all is fine - it only shows Tuesday night's episode as recording.

On the Widget, however, it shows both the Tuesday night and the Thursday 2pm repeats are set to be recorded. And to make matters more confusing, the Interactive page on the ICE TV website shows the Thursday repeats as "Recording failed".

This only happens with this particular series recording at the moment. In the past I have had problems with recordings that I'd scheduled on the HTPC and subsequently cancelled still been shown as recording in the Widget.

Any ideas on why this stuff isn't synchronising properly?

I have a number of series recordings setup on my HTPC. When I look at the Guide or Scheduled the shows are marked as set to record, but they don't show up in the Series page. Similarly in I Watch This, they are marked as single recording only.

Is there something I need to configure to get series recordings showing in Remote, or is this broken?

I have a HTPC running Vista Media Center. I occasionally use the IceTV Remote functionality to check which shows are set to record. For the last couple of weeks shows set to record have not had the icon displayed in the Remote's guide nor do they appear in My Upcoming Shows, which is blank. My HTPC appears to updating the guide info normally and correctly as it always has - at 2am every morning.

Up until this glitch the Remote function on the website has been working without a problem since I setup the HTPC (several month's ago now). There have been no changes to my HTPC in that time. I manually install Vista updates, but have not done this anytime in the last few weeks, and I have not upgraded to the newly-released Vista SP1 yet. So my HTPC should be functionally the same as it was when the Remote was working.

Anyone got an ideas.
