EyeTV / Re: EyeTV 2.3.3 hanging on recordings

I also had this problem.

Sent details to EyeTV support and eventually they sent a me beta version which has fixed the issue.

So anyone still experiencing this should definitely contact EyeTV support.

EyeTV / Re: News on EyeTV 2.3.2 with Australian EPG - Imminent?
« on: October 21, 2006, 10:30:20 AM »
From an Elgato support e-mail:

"As of Friday Afternoon, the available download for EyeTV 2.3.2 is Build 2403. This can be confirmed by selecting About EyeTV from the EyeTV menu or Get Info on the Application.

There should be no problem with ABC2 in Australia."

I've downloaded it an all seems to be OK. ABC2 works.

Same here.

Now I just need to fix my antenna so I can get 9 again... @#%$%^ cockatoos.

ABC2 (previously fine) has audio but no or very choppy video. Suspect this is EyeTV update issue. They claim to have 'improved' tuner sensitivity.

ABC Dig Radio shows as a pay($) channel

Same here with ABC2, ie audio but no video.

ABC DiG radio is fine...

Widget for Mac OSX Dashboard / Re: Further problems - "Unknown" Channels
« on: September 21, 2006, 11:04:09 PM »
Update - widget seems to be updating OK now after many resets/permission deletions etc.

Spoke to soon... widget is still freezing up when I switch to "all" view. I have to delete widget prefs to get it responsive again :(

Widget for Mac OSX Dashboard / Re: Further problems - "Unknown" Channels

I've been deleting prefs etc trying to get this thing to work and have now come up with another problem...

Some of the channels in the list that come up in the assignment pop-up are listed as "unknown" so I can't integrate the missing channels (eg ABC2) with EyeTV. They don't seem to be in the same order as in EyeTV so I can't even guess which they might be.

Any suggestions?

Adrian

However, I'm still having the problem with some EyeTV channels (often the ones I want to record) showing up as "unknown" in the widget when trying to assign them to Ice channels.

So far no response from support regarding that one :(

(resetting widget and/or deleting preferences hasn't fixed it)

EyeTV / Re: Program Guide for ABC Sydney.

Not sure about ABC. It's not an issue if you're subscribed though ;)

Well I still prefer it in EyeTV (rather than a widget :)... at the moment it comes and goes and never has more than a couple of days so it is not as good as ICE.. but... it works, unlike the widget for me :(

I'm subscribed and still having issues with the Dashboard widget... see my posts in the Dashboard Widget Forum (which have gone unanswered, as has my email to support)...

Adrian

Recently EYE TV has been able to receive a program guide for ABC Sydney and it's great-makes the whole EYE TV experience even more enjoyable. I cannot wait until all channels are available. The widget is great and all, but integration is so elegant. I was hoping that the Eye TV 2.3.1 update released recently might include Ice TV support but we'll have to wait a little longer. Should we be lobbying Elgato?
Woody.

Seems to have disappeared from ABC for now? (at least it has for me...anyone else still getting it?)

Any ideas how we encourage the ABC to put it back?

I'm still having problems with this.

Doesn't anyone have any suggestions?

I've tried a completely new user (standard local account) and it still has problems, i.e. the widget basically locks up, sometimes when I click a program, sometimes when I'm scrolling and sometimes it is frozen when I open it up.

I've not be able to use the widget it to schedule any recordings at all since I signed up :(

Hi all,

Just subscribed to IceTV through the current special offer and I've been trying to get the widget working again for me - it worked fine in January during my free trial and on the few occassions I've looked at it since.

I installed the latest version but I'm not having much luck. I can authenticate and it will download the programs but it responds very slowly (if at all), eg if I click the button to choose the display type (ie three/five etc) it won't pop for several seconds. I can't resize the widget but can drag it around. Clicking on a program doesn't seem to do anything, ie the details don't come up.

I've restarted the computer (several times), reinstalled the widget (several times), deleted anything that have "icetv" in it but still no luck?

Any other suggestions?

I'm using a mobile home directory if that makes any difference?

Regards,

Adrian
