IceTV EPG Content / Re: ICETV EPG crashing Topfield 2400 again.

We have worked out that it is the data in ABC One's guide that is causing the problem. We are looking for the culprit character now.

Is it resolved yet?

Definitely unintuitive. If it allowed for a choice between "Exact time" and "Around this time" it would be a lot more useful.

Or better yet, choices of 'Early, Morning, Afternoon, Evening or Exact Time'.

If we're making requests for coding changes, how about one that gives you the option to preference one recording over another in case of multiple timers? :-)

Will using the "This Time:This time only" option in Advanced options when you set up the timer do what you want?

Thanks, the 'when you set the timer' was the key, I'd been trying to modify the time option on an already set series record.

Cheers, Paul.

Hi, we record 'News on 3' on ABC 3 for the kids. The 5:40 edition is a shorter, edited version of the 6:50 version. Is there any way of differentiating between the two? We'd like to record the longer 6:50 version.

Thanks, Paul.

I know this has been talked about before, but any chance of this being implemented any time soon? Would be great for IceTV to combine consecutive timers rather than doing it manually like a do now. I know TEDs and Smart EPG can do that, but want a one stop solution that comes from the IceTV website.

Thanks, Paul.

Wonder for practical purposes, what the difference is?

According to the ABC online guide:

Story Club, Wednesday, 21 Jan
Series 1 | Episode 3
10:01 PM - 10:29 PM [28 mins]
Ben Jenkins meets a policeman with delusions of grandeur and a nerf gun, and Patrick Magee relives the time he was Batman with an eating disorder.

Cheers, Paul.

Sorry if I missed it, but I would love a DAB+ digital radio receiver in it. I don't mean the ABC and SBS one currently available, I mean the the ones that copy the AM and FM stations and the extra channels they provide. Not knowing the technology, not sure if this is an easy or hard thing, but I'd like it.

Cheers, Paul.

A question whose answer I may have missed. Are there plans for the new Icecube to have user programmability similar to the TAP concept that I love about my Topfield machine?

Thanks, Paul.

As a long time ICE user who has always used topfield devices and ice via TEDS or interactive, I'd also put my hand up to test run a new device.

Cheers, Paul.

I'll had my name to the +1 list!

All solved, thanks for the rapid response to my post.

Bit disappointed that a number of emails to sales seem to have been ignored. I'm fairly certain that the responses are not in the junk email folder. The most recent ticket is  #25875. Clicking on the email link gets the following result:

Request not found

You do not have access to request #25875. It may have been solved or deleted.

If your response is get lost, we told you one price but you paid another price, at least tell me that.

Hate to be a whinger when I've always found IceTV so supportive, but getting frustrated at being ignored.

Thanks, Paul.

Used to be able to click on a link at the top of the forum page to got to IceTV's website - where did it go?

Cheers, Paul.
