Humax / Re: Humax 4tune (HMS-1000T)

Bought one of these yesterday, for people interested in the EPG setup Humax has its own internet based EPG! At first sight it looks primitive but seems to work ok, lots of room for improvement.
I have upgraded from the 7500 and I was a little disappointed with 4tunes PQ compared to the 7500, colours seem to be washed out and it took some time fiddling with adjustments to get something that was acceptable to me.
Scheduled recording didn't work last night last night...I haven't found out why yet.
Tried the EPG search function and that didn't work properly- when I searched for "movie" only 1 result came up.
Also had a full system lock up while we were watching 7mate! The only way I could fix it was to switch the unit off and on again from the back.
I haven't tried dlna yet but will report back if people are interested
So for a $600 pvr my experience hasn't been good so far Humax need to lift their game a bit.
This is not meant a pick on session on Humax but purely my first few hrs experience with this unit.
