It wasn't "fixed" it was never wrong.  We haven't had to correct anything.

It takes me back to when Ch9 sued us for copyright infringement.  Then, what they really wanted to do was to break us, and I'm sure they still bear the scars of our win (Pyrrhic though it may have been!). So Prime being difficult make IceTV's life harder, hoping we'll go away.  But what do we do except make watching FTA easier? Ah - must be the destruction of primetime as we encourage timeshiftimg, and ad-skipping (for which I just used to press mute on the remote anyway). So hello OTT which is a real "watch what you want, when you want, and no ads" for a small (ish) sub.  Or... FTA excepts timeshiftimg because the shows then get watched and makes the agencies produce ads we can bear to watch.  Or even ads we even want to talk about, just like a good TV show (I dream!)...

This was Prime's last communication with me when I asked for triplet info.  Every other broadcaster gave them out.  So I doubt I'll get much help!!

Good Morning Colin,

Prime are declining your request for the triplet data at this time.

But have you rebooted as I suggested?

Yes it is correct for me in Syd, and has been since about 1pm when I first checked via my iPhone app. Maybe it had a schedule update moving to 5 minutes earlier, as Judy's extra one in her Wiz is 23:05, and a fluke login time from the Wiz caused the doubling up.  If it occurs again we'll look into it more deeply.

I wonder if it would vanish if Judy did a reboot via the remote off-on bottom?

Hi OzBear,

As PayPal requires separate authorisation outside of our current payment gateway setup we are not proceeding for the present. You can always use a debit card in your account if you wish to avoid credit.

Must be a Wiz problem. We haven’t made any changes to those shows.

Hi,

I'd suggest keeping it simple and buy a proper Beyonwiz one.

SKIPPA / Re: Skippa not recording
« on: November 25, 2017, 06:17:23 PM »
Hi,

This is one reset method:

Unplug the power cable from the back of the Skippa.
Wait 10 seconds.
Plug the power cable back in.
On the TV screen, when you see the IceTV logo appear (and don't wait too long!), press the following remote control buttons in this order:
Blue, Yellow, Green, Red, Green
The Skippa will now restart and run through the initial setup process again.

Or :

Have you tried a factory reset:

1. Press Menu on the remote control.
2. Scroll down to Settings and press OK.
3. Scroll down to General and press OK.
4. Scroll down to the Factory Defaults button on the screen and press OK.  The PIN is 1234.

Hi Again,

Just to increase the confusion I've attached a screenshot of the ABC's website showing tomorrow's repeat "Keeping Australia Safe".  They are calling it Episode 1 - Episode 3!! They tell us the they have screened episode 3 as episode 1 last week (?); episode 1 this week as episode 3 and next week will resume with 4,5 and 6. We don't know when ep 2 will be screened.  Tomorrow's repeat of ep 3 will be flagged a repeat as the recording yesterday was ep 3 and nothing was left out.  I hope that makes sense as it's doing my head in!!

Hi Carljh,

The ABC seem to have got their data in a knot and we go by the data that they supply to IceTV.

The ABC has yesterday’s episode showing as Series 1: Episode 1 (with the
Episode 1 synopsis) and this is repeated on Thursday.  It should be
Episode 3.  We have changed Thursday’s programme to Episode 3 and marked
it as a new show so anyone who missed recording Episode 3 last night can
record Thursday’s episode.  ABC’s programme guide on Keeping Australia
Safe also has the episode details scrambled. We have contacted ABC to
advise them of the errors.

Changing Thursday's repeat to a first run is a little risky but at least those that missed it should now get the recording.  In your case you can either delete that episode before airing or on the PVR after recoding.  It's a nuisance and I hope the ABC lift their game.  Why Freeview had accurate data while we did not will be investigated.
