Title: Logging back into IceTV EPG everytime
Post by: Eelsfan05 on August 20, 2015, 09:37:47 PM
I am currently running my Topfield 2400 with a Topfield Wifi USB after a house move.  Previously I had the Toppy connected straight into my modem. Since changing everytime I turn the Toppy on the EPG doesn't populate. I have to log back into IceTV via the settings menu each time. Any ideas?

I suspect that when the Toppy boots up the it attempts to contact IceTV but there is no active network connection. The delay is caused by the need for the Toppy to ask for an IP address. The solution is to use static IP address on the Toppy and reserve the same IP address on the Router for Toppy.

There may be a discussion on how to do this on the oztoppy wiki: http://oztoppy.wikidot.com/networkingyourtoppy
