Title: 4 Corners EPG issue
Post by: me on September 09, 2013, 09:12:11 PM
Tonight's 4 Corners details shows it was made in 1961.  :P
I often see 1961 as the production year of programs.
I wonder if this is some default date thats applied when the year is omitted.

In the case of Four Corners, both Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Corners_%28TV_series%29) and IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0983197/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2) say it has been running since 1961 (ABC TV started broadcasting in 1956), so it would appear that the 1961 date is reasonable.

Again according to Wikipedia, Four Corners is Australia's
longest-running (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_longest-running_Australian_television_series) TV series, followed by Play School (started 1966).

Can anyone else remember when the Four Corners theme was Tchaikovsky's Capriccio Italien?

This isn't an EyeTV-specific question.
