Because it works!

Congrats to Ice on the new format* too.

Edit: *I mean more colourful interface and layout, pleasing to my eye at least.

I too am pleased with the new presentation of the old forum. However, is there any way to adjust the forum time? It is currently showing 18:07, when it is actually 17:07 AEST.

Yeah, I would have to admit that SMF did a good job updating the themes and making them slicker than they used to be.

Are you seeing that at the top of the forum? Because it is showing the correct time for me (and your post shows the correct Sydney based time as well).

Hi Daniel. Yes, it is at the top of the page and also my previous post is time-stamped 18:01 and yours 18:09. Others forums have a place to adjust local time, but I can't find it on this one.  It appears I might have daylight saving set somewhere. And before you ask, my computer (Win Vista, Firefox) is on the correct timezone for Canberra.

Sorry, 18:07, not 18:01.

All good now - I found it. And I did have a one-hour offset. I guess I never adjusted it from summer time back in April.

Yay, my favourite ' view unread posts' is back, thankfully sanity prevails, the other interim junk was soooooooo annoying to keep having to click the ' view recent threads' link each time you hit the back button from a thread and then try to work out whether you had read that thread already.

Thanks for being big enough to admit it was a mistake and taking corrective action
