I have been forecasting this announcement from when Packer and Murdoch (owners of Fox Sports) bought into Ten recently. It was inevitable.

According to the Canberra Times article on it this morning, the "general content" will be Mon-Fri, possibly leaving it open that One will be round-the-clock sport, or mainly sport, on the weekends.
