Title: Shameless
Post by: milhouseaus on March 30, 2009, 09:49:29 PM
WHY OH WHY is "Shameless" (which I have as a favourite) now listed as "Shameless (SBS)"  ???

What is the point of a series recording option when Icetv may just change the name of a show next time its on  :o

NOT HAPPY  >:(

Hi Millhouse,

My mistake, new to ICETV and working my way around the system.

Sometimes the same title is given to two or even three different shows and we need to differentiate them.  As this is SBS I allocated SBS version.  All fixed now though.

Thanks for letting me know.

Thankyou (although I have now missed tonights ep)

The only time I can think that a channel name in the title would be of use is to differentiate the different news services. If it was used in any other circumstance, what happens when a show changes channels?  I don't want to be seeing "Thank God You're Here (Seven)" in the near future.  If a show happens to have the same title as another I would suggest a year (when production started) or country of origin suffix would be best - just decide from the start and don't change midstream.

Again, thankyou  8)
