" No Data Available " getting too frequent....
« on: November 28, 2007, 10:58:42 PM »
Currently 10:55pm here in Sydney.
Channels 7, SBS, SBS World News, Seven HD and Ten HD are ALL showing as " No Data Available " .

Whats going on guys ??

Also, why has the data fetching slowed down so much ??  I am using Media Portal with a .bat script which use to be lightning fast, but for some reason has become really slow ( to the point where it takes about 45 seconds. Use to take less than 3 seconds before ).

I have checked in the guide database and all the information is in the for Sydney (and was last night as well), so it should all be showing up.

Have the channel names changed at all so that they need to be re-setup within Media Portal? I do know that SBS changed a while ago, and Ten changed there channel lineup only last week.

As for the fetching slowing down... One of the things we monitor on our server is the amount of time it takes to perform an XML guide fetch from an external connection, the longest we have seen over the past week is 5 secs, and it averages around the 2-3 sec mark.

At what time of day are your guide downloads scheduled?

Daniel.
