Please be advised that Guide Team updates are continuing to happen with regards to the cancellation of the AFL and NRL seasons. The revised scheduling for Thurs through to Sunday will be finished by the end of tomorrow.

As well, please note that there are ongoing News Specials, particularly on 7 and 9 which means usual popular programming is being dropped, sometimes quite late in the day and so we ask that you continue to check your recordings after our late afternoon checks are complete each day, at approx 5.30pm AEST.

The Guide Team appreciate your patience during this time.

Kind regards,

Tiphanee

The Mastermind error was simply a mistake caused by the current workload where the staff member responsible was snowed under by amendments, amendments on amendments and contradicting amendments.  All symptomatic of the situation the broadcasters find themselves in due to the effects of coronavirus upon their schedules. Hopefully the cancellation and rescheduling of shows, across Australia with no predictable regional logic, will settle down in the next week or so giving the team time to take stock and get on top of things.

Regarding the TVTonight Nine News schedule - yes we are well aware of their various schedule posts but one cannot be sure they will not change again, which is why we cannot escape manual curation and checking to the best of our ability.

Further to MD's comments, there are also numerous changes across the whole schedule, including out of prime time updates and on other channels besides 9.

We're also having to contend with the fact that programming on the secondary channels such as 7Mate/7Two and 9Gem needs to be updated for sporting fixtures dependent on whether they are classed as an 'AFL' or 'NRL' state.

Due to the different time zones that Australia has, it's a case of having to check each channel manually. With a 7 day guide and over 130 Free to Air Channels in the Capitals, and a further 280 plus channels in the regionals, this is an arduous task with the current pandemic situation we find ourselves in and networks chopping and changing their coverage.

I appreciate yours, and all our subscribers patience at this time.
