I hope this will only be received as constructive criticism as I'm a very happy IceTV customer.

I received a message box notification when I started my computer the other day, which took a bit of time before I realised it was actually from PIMP my MCE. The message box had the following text and I've attached a screenshot:

Quote
Update Available
A newer version of this application is available. Would you like to update now?
Yes|No

Unfortunately there is nothing currently to clue the user into which application is prompting for the update and I think it's a little in your face. I would suggest a balloon notification instead that also identifies that the update is for PIMP my MCE, something like this:

I found details of these notifications here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/UxGuide/UXGuide/Controls/Notifications/Notifications.asp

Thanks for the feedback.

A much more descriptive window will be in the next version.
