Is there a particular source that is preferred for images? I've gone with the network promotional images or official show websites where possible. All images were declared in og:image metatag at linked sources unless specified otherwise.

Hey @bowser what device are you using that you get to see show images? I'm using Windows 7 MCE & the program is just tagged by an image (screenshot) taken from a few minutes into the recording.

I'm using a Humax 2tune. I get a screenshot from the recording in my recordings list, but in the TV guide and schedule I get IceTV's images if available. You can also see them online with "View Upcoming Episodes" to go to the program page https://tv-guide.icetv.com.au/show/The-Big-Bang-Theory-tv-11961 and can make it bigger by removing /thumbnails/ from the image URL.

It's very disappointing that IceTV is not putting enough effort into this I am grateful what they have done but it just seems they have stopped adding posters. I have HDHomeRun dvr and it has a proper poster for nearly every show. Their provider is likely to sell this service to the Australian public and IceTV will lose customer as there are many customers like me who use emby and others are using plex.

Hi denny09,

We are working on the image within Plex and Emby as well. There should be either a placeholder or actual image available for all shows within the guide.

Our guide team is on top of increasing the amount of actual images, but for some shows they are sadly just not available to us.

My Humax shows the images that are shown on IceTV's website, for example it shows this for Seven News


Do these get updated or just the poster ones for xml?
