I'm trying to record Travel Man on sbs but I keep getting a notification of failed timer email.
I'm in Perth
I can see the program in the T4 epg

Have you re-scanned services since VICELAND HD started up?

I think very early on SBS VICELAND HD had the wrong service type (0x01 not 0x19).
Zap to SBS VICELAND HD, then MENU->Information->Service.  What does the Service reference show (it should be "1:0:19:326:320:3202:EEEE0000:0:0,0:").
Does yours have 1:0:1:{blah} instead?  If so, you need to rescan.  Then nuke the existing Viceland HD from your Favourites bouquet, and add the newly scanned entry from Last Scanned back into Favourites,
