New recording set up: how does Limit work?

Hi

In the new recording set up on web and iOS there is a setting "Limit" with options Record All, 1 per Day, 2 per Day, etc.

If you select 1 per Day what happens in the following circumstance:

Screening today is:

Program A - s01e01 - Pilot
Program A - s01e01 - Pilot (a second time for the day)
Program A - s01e02 - Part 2

Will only the first instance of Program A (the Pilot) record?

Or

Will the first instance of each episode record (that is, Pilot and Part 2)?

I am unclear whether 1 per day refers to Program or specific Episode.

Appreciate any help.

Specific episode.

So there should be one recording each of s01e01 and s01e02.

If they are all the same series (Program A) then only the first episode broadcast that day would record (s01e01 - Pilot). The other 2 would not record.

The Limit option only cares about the show, not if they are unique episodes.
