I have 4 Beyonwiz DP series PVRs (with unique names) that all connect successfully to IceTV. I have made no changes to the PVRs or on the website for months. However, over the last couple of weeks, some timers are being sent to the wrong device.
2 of the BWs have been fine, but the other 2 are having problems.
Any ideas?

It's a known bug with the DP series Beyonwiz PVRs. They can sometimes request the timers without including their device id so they end up getting any available timers from device 0.

The solution used to be to move your real devices away from the first device slot (device id 0). But because DP series Beyonwiz PVRs expect there to be a device assigned to id 0 in your account you can NOT leave the first slot empty (otherwise you get a "please create a pimp device in id 0" error in Ice Guide on the Beyonwiz). So part 2 of the solution was to add an unused dummy device in slot 0.

Now because you have the full allotment of 5 devices in your account you cannot add a dummy device in the first spot in your device list. The next best option would be to move your least used device to the first position... which is what you appear to have already.

A possible 'proper' fix may be as simple as re-selecting the device in the Ice Guide menu on each Beyonwiz PVR.

1. Switch each Beyonwiz off to standby.
2. Switch them off at the power point for a minute.
3. Switch them back on.
4. Go into 'Setup > Network > Ice Guide'.
5. Select a different device (maybe the Topfield device).
6. Disable then enable Ice Guide to force a fetch.
7. Select the correct device.
8. Disable then enable Ice Guide to force a fetch again.
9. Hope that fixes it...
cheers
