Extending a manual recording

Occasionally when watching a programme I want to record it as I cant stay till the end.  If I hit record, the Humax will end the recording at the end time dictated by the Ice EPG.  However, as we all do with our scheduled recordings, I need to add padding to the end of the recording.  How do I manually extend the duration of the recording that I have manually kicked off?

Not sure about Ice but on standard tv guide you press the record button a second time and there is an option to extend the end time.

You are correct.  Fantastic!  So logical when you think about it yet its the one thing I did not try.
