Yesterday's (24 Jun) "What's on This Week" post had Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 in Movies of the Week. Deathly Hallows started in the ACT at 20:35 Mon 24 Jun EST. What's on This Week was posted at 21:32 Mon 24 Jun EST, nearly an hour later. Similarly for The Incredible Mr Goodwin, which started at 19:40 Mon 24 Jun EST.

Email headers:
Date: Mon, 24 Jun 2013 07:32:43 -0400
Received: from 127.0.0.1  (EHLO m2.criticalimpactinc.com) (74.55.176.115)
  by mta1245.mail.bf1.yahoo.com with SMTP; Mon, 24 Jun 2013 04:32:44 -0700).

Just in time, perhaps, for the folk out west, but not much use for those on Central or Eastern time.

Mr. Godwin had finished on the east coast by the time the email announcing it was sent.

The newsletter always goes out on Monday afternoon. It can't go out much earlier than this because the full week's schedule isn't confirmed for us until Sunday night, sometimes Monday morning. As you know, Seven, Nine and Ten don't send us any schedule information at all.

Unfortunately, we can't control third party servers so if Yahoo takes a further five hours - and it was five hours going by the time you say you received it - to actually deliver it then there isn't a whole lot we can do.

We do post the newsletter in the News section on our website as well http://news.icetv.com.au/news/

Hi, Madeleine.Thanks for the reply.

From the headers on the email it looks to me that it was sent to Yahoo at 21:32 Mon 24 Jun EST:

Received: from 127.0.0.1  (EHLO m2.criticalimpactinc.com) (74.55.176.115)
  by mta1245.mail.bf1.yahoo.com with SMTP; Mon, 24 Jun 2013 04:32:44 -0700).

i.e. sent from criticalimpactinc.com to yahoo.com at Mon, 24 Jun 2013 04:32:44 -0700, which is 21:32:44 Mon 24 Jun EST (+1000)

Hi

Just an update ...

To allow for the fact that actual delivery to some email addresses can take up to 5 hours, we're now sending the Monday email out slightly earlier in the day.

It will also be posted immediately to the News blog on our website each Monday here http://news.icetv.com.au/news/

In addition to this, we have created an Ice Picks feature on the IceTV mobile app. This contains Monday's newsletter/email but will also be updated throughout the week with more content. At the moment this feature is only available on the Android version but IOS will be coming soon.

Cheers
