IceTV vs MCE7

I'm newbie to IceTV and am trying to work out why I should use IceTV  with my MCE?  What extra features will I be getting?

Why not just use a stand alone MCE?

Suggest you use the 30 days of free trial (or whatever it is these days) to compare what you get
The FTA guide quality is poor IMHO

Guesss it depends on how much you value getting the right programmes recorded on time reliably

For me, long before I came to work for IceTV, it has always been the repeat flags and letting IceTV set all of my recordings for me without me having to look through the guide each day.
