Wont go back to Standby

I have my Topfield TF7100HDPVRt set up to turn on every afternoon and do a blank recording (As outlined here http://www.icetv.com.au/cgi-bin/websupport.cgi?op=show_faq&cat_level=3&faq_id=147&faq_cat3_id=75 )so the Iceguide and any programs that are to be recorded can be sent to it,Turns on ok, But doesnt shut down again after the 40 minutes,
Anyone have this problem?

This sounds like a Topfield problem to me. You may be better off asking it on the Topfield forum or in the DTV PVRs forum.

It's a known issue with view only timers.

There is only one workaround that I'm aware of and that is to set a timer to record a radio station for the desired period and give it a timer name of Ice Sync or something recognisable.
Then just delete those recordings once every week/fortnight, they are not very big in size, i think around a couple of hundred megabytes for a recording duration of 30-45min from memory.
