Why a double login to the CoolRoom?

Why do I need to log in specifically to the CoolRoom when I'm already logged in to IceTV? The CoolRoom is open to all IceTV subscribers, AFAIK, so why the login? I can understand it for access to payments on my credit card, that's a good idea, but what's being protected here?

It must be fixed because I didn't need to login twice
