Empty Guide Why?

This is the third time this month the ICE Program Guide has been empty despite doing a manual fetch - why?

Topfield 7100 and it also froze today .... 2 weeks ago someone quoted an ICE tech as saying it was an ICE EPG programming problem - can someone please explain this and what I can do (aside form canceling ICE) to fix it?
