Hi, can we set a icetv guide recording to record 5mins before the show and 5mins after the show. We know how much the tv shows love to keep to the advertised time. Also how often does the recording requests get sent to the beyonwiz?

The Beyonwiz has soft padding that adds padding at recording time onto the timers.  Please see the Beyonwiz forums, here is the thread on padding:

And when you set it up, you might want to make it a bit more than 5 minutes post-padding. I'd recommend 10 minutes as a minimum; I use 15 minutes myself, and there are a number of Beyonwiz forum regulars who use more.
